Rurouni Kenshin Live Action Trailer

This is one of my favorite Anime of all time, but in live action! Join Kenshin Himura, or Hitokiri Battousai the slasher, as he go on a journey with Kaoru, and Sanosuke.

During the Meiji era, Kenshin Himura was once an assassin called Hitokiri Battousai, who atoned for his sin by wandering around Japan to offer protection and aid those in need.

While he was wandering, he met Kaoru when she was fighting with a fake Hitokiri Battousai. After discovering that Kenshin was the real Battousai, she invited him to stay at her dojo while she felt like the Battousai is calm and peace loving.

Kenshin is also joined by Sanosuke Sagara, Myojin Yahiko, Megumi Takani, and Saito Hajime.

Anyway, I don’t know what the story of this live action film will tell but we will find out on August 25, 2012.

This film is produced by Warner Bros and Studio Swan. Directed by by Keishi Otomo.

Tekeru Satoh stars as Kenshin and Emi Takei as Kaoru.
