The 2012 Prophecy… FAIL
Aside from Harold Camping’s prophecy, we survived another failed Doomsday prophecy that was called 2012 phenomenon.
This prophecy was based from the Mayan prophecy regarding their calendar long count which on the 12th cycle, Mayans predicted that the world will end on December 21, 2012. Although historical accounts does not mention about the end of the world, but Mayans just mentioned the end of the 12th cycle, nothing more.
From the very start I knew that this prophecy will fail, but from the Bible, it says:
“But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, only the Father.”
Another myth was the Nibiru Collision, luckily it didn’t happen.
