RIP Kim Jong-il

I was surprised to see the news that the Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-il, died yesterday, Dec 19, 2011, because of heart attack while travelling outside Pyongyang. He is known for his power over North Korea and became the Worlds Most Powerful People on Forbes Magazine.

Rumors that his third son, Kim Jong-un, would be taking over as the leader of North Korea, making him the “great successor”. But it was denied by the DPRK, which led to give it to the chairman of the Presidium, Kim Yong Nam.

What will happen to North Korea with the new leadership under the great successor? Let’s check it out.
